As the DPJ, which should be a mainstay of the opposition bloc, became as if
it were a party entirely for out-and-out opposition, it brought to the fore that
the Diet became a place of a mudslinging contest and the deliberations receded
into the
background.
野党の支柱たるべき民主党がまるでなんでも反対の党になったので、国会は泥仕合の場となり、議論が霞んでしまったことが明らかとなった。
