Why did Ms. Tanaka lose her seat?

Ms. Tanaka lost her seat in the Lower House. But, it is not attributable to Noda. As her blunders had dumbfounded many people and drawn a barrage of complaints from them, and raised doubts in their minds, her words did not stick in the voters' mind.
